I’m Pete Hernandez Owner of 101 Flooring Connect Inc. DBA Fit Life Sports Flooring.

I have been in the fitness industry for 36 years. I started off as a personal trainer in the 80s running marathons and triathlons with my client. During that time I found that I was just beating up my body so I had to make changes I loved the fitness industry so I started selling fitness equipment and setting up gyms for my clients which took me into the commercial industry setting up gyms.

During that time I was introduced to sports flooring where I found not very many people in the industry even thought about it. So I researched companies that would make different types of sports Flooring which mainly consisted of rubber products. I have spent the last 26 years in the Sports flooring industry with over 1,000,000 ft. of sports flooring installed in gyms schools community centers and universities and homes. I continue today working with architects designers your mom and pops gyms. All this would not have happened without my wife Cindy 46 years of marriage she has been my rock and my best friend.

We both enjoy our life together camping traveling and still running the business from wherever we are at we also enjoy our eight grandkids and three kids we all live in the same town and nothing is better than that. Life is good!
